I am just wondering how long it usually takes to do a citation cleanup order of say 50 citations (turn around time)?

Citation cleanup service has a turn around time of 3-4 weeks, sometimes a little more. Because we're relying on the reponses of sometimes hundreds of sites, it can take a while to wait for them all. Then we go back and make another try at those who didn't respond from our first request change... It's not really a service that moves quickly or we can speed up, unfortunately.

How do I know what citations need fixing?

Running a citation audit will let you know how many citations you need cleaned up including the ones you see that need fixing.

We use Whitespark, Brightlocal, and some manual scraping to put together a comprehensive audit. Then we manually go over each listing and note what is shown and if any are inaccurate or duplicate. It is the perfect combination of automation combined with manual work, in the end it produces a nice audit, I highly recommend starting with this even before running new citations.

After that, you would know what needs editing.

I'm looking to have my citations cleaned up for a website I have, should I have them deleted or corrected somehow?

Usually you would want them corrected, and in that case the Citation Cleanup and Boost service.

We also have the ability to delete duplicate or unwanted citations, if that's what you also want.

What is your success rate?

Our success rate depends a lot on how responsive the support teams are behind each citation site we contact on your behalf.

Some of them are more responive than others, but we usually have around a 70% success rate.

Are you able to edit/correct the same sites Yext does?

Yes and no.

Some of the bigger sites we can do, but Yext has a mafia-like control over a lot of smaller sites that they don't let anyone touch unless you pay them.

While it's a little silly on their part, keep in mind many people like myself have ranked well locally without touching Yext. They represent only about 5% of the citation sites out there so you might just consider ignoring them, I don't think what they charge and the value they give to be a decent deal.

What can we do to help improve the success rate?

Hooking us up with an e-mail attached to the domain the citations are associated with will help the success rate a bit.

I would consider lining this up right after you order. The manager will request access to it so make sure you have a password for us too.

But it is not totally necessary to have decent results.

How do i go about Getting Citation Audits and Ordering Citations for A Client with multiple locations and how do you keep the citations separated for each business?

For that you will need to add each location as a separate client in the dashboard.

We've built the dashboard out so that you can easily track what's been ordered for what location.

Then you would need to run the citation audit for each location.

Can you edit our description, logo, etc.. with this service?

Our best results will come from requesting business name, address, and phone number changes - since this is considered vital information.

It's a little more difficult getting the citation sites to change other elements.
